Malcolm Roberson founded Aroberson Production in 2007. The company was built off his passion for storytelling and building client based relationships. He is a film and television producer based in Los Angeles, CA. After graduating from Columbia College Hollywood, Malcolm went on to work as an Executive Assistant to actors’, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Forest Whitaker, Brittany Daniel, and Bill Duke. After retiring his assistant title, Malcolm worked in the Writers’ Room for shows such as ABC’s “Station 19,” Freeform’s “Baby Daddy,” OWN’s “Love Is__,” Netflix’s “The Lincoln Lawyer,” and Bounce TV’s “Family Time.” Malcolm has always had a passion for writing and creating.

 

He’s written, produced, and directed several independent projects, and continues to build on his project slate. His passion for writing was born out of his love for reading and language arts. Malcolm has always been eager to tell honest stories in the most creative ways; while also keeping the integrity of what message he wants the story to convey. He prides himself on constantly wanting to challenge the audience and believing that less is more, and sometimes, the answers are right in your face.
